As a Sports Behaviour Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality risk and integrity monitoring service. Your work will directly contribute to the sportsbook’s ability to stay ahead of emerging threats and maintain a fair, competitive environment for all users.

What you’ll be doing

• Analysing betting behaviour across sports, markets, and customer segments to identify trends and potential risks.
• Investigating patterns of advantage play, including promotions exploitation and coordinated betting activity.
• Evaluating the performance of promotional campaigns and identifying opportunities to improve strategy.
• Supporting the identification of emerging syndicate behaviours and providing insights on how to detect and mitigate them.
• Working closely with Trading, Risk, and Integrity teams to turn insights into practical actions.
• Producing clear, data‑driven insights and reports that inform business decisions and long‑term planning.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of behavioural detection tools and processes

You’re someone who brings:

• Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas and present insights clearly
• A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross-functional teams to hit shared goals
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast-moving environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex behavioural and betting data
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to problem‑solving
• Understanding of sports betting markets and customer behaviour
• Experience working with data (Excel, SQL, Databricks or similar)
• A passion for sports and betting trends.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
• Experience in a sportsbook, igaming, or data‑driven environment
• Knowledge of advantage play and betting strategies
• Experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBi)
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g. Kibana, ElasticSearch, Databricks)
• Advanced data querying skills.
