Sports Coach
Summary
Teach skiing techniques to individuals or groups, assess progress, and ensure safety in a recreational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct and demonstrate skiing techniques to individuals or groups
- Monitor and assess students' progress
- Provide first-aid where necessary
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Assessing the skill level of their clients,
- Designing customized lesson plans
- Providing feedback and guidance
Requirements:
- Minimum CASI Level 1 equivalence
- Excellent skiing ability
- Experience in teaching skiing
- Deep knowledge of skiing techniques, equipment, weather conditions and mountain safety measures
- Patient, Motivated, enthusiasm and friendly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to ski proficiently
- Ability to teach skiing to others
- Ability to work with people of all ages and levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
- Ability to carry out risk assessments
