Sports Coordinator
Position: Full-Time 40 hours/ week with benefits
Reports to: Director of Operations Middle School, Sports, & Safety
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday; some Saturdays required (depending on sports games)
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Primary Function:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations – Middle School, Sports and Safety, the Sports Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the planning, coordination and implementation of quality education, enrichment and recreational sports programs and activities. The Sport Coordinator also performs administrative duties and ensures the program requirements are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site lead for all assigned game days, ensuring facilities are open, safe, prepared, and secured at the end of each event.
- Coordinate game-day operations by managing schedules, staff check-ins, equipment, attendance, and communication with coaches, officials, families, and volunteers.
- Oversee safe and efficient game operations, enforce organizational values and safety protocols, respond to incidents, and complete required documentation in MyClubHub.
- Provide excellent customer service by serving as the primary on-site representative, addressing questions and concerns, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
- Build positive relationships with youth athletes, coaches, staff, and community partners while promoting sports programs and opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with club leaders and staff to support program goals and deliver high-quality sports experiences.
- Plan, schedule, and lead sports clinics, games, and tournaments, modeling strong sportsmanship and coaching best practices.
- Oversee game day operations, including safety, volunteer coordination, first aid response, emergency procedures, and youth wellness needs.
- Manage program administration through data tracking, scheduling, communications, and use of digital tools such as Teams, Zoom, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
