WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:
- Greeting visitors at the front desk in person and by phone; responding to inquiries appropriately and with a high degree of service and grace.
- Collecting and handling money for leagues, classes, etc.
- Open or close the facility, maintaining a safe environment for all the members and guests.
- Building relationships with visitors and pointing them towards a relationship with Jesus.
- Help the Sports & Fitness ministry in other ways, as needed.
SCHEDULE: Work approximately 8-15 hours a week as needed.
- The current need is Wednesday evening. Winter hours: 2pm-10pm.
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours is desired.
OUR MUST-HAVES:
- Basic computer skills or willingness and ability to learn.
- Ability to have positive, friendly interactions with a diverse population of visitors.
- A good listener with the ability to diffuse tense situations and extend grace generously; high degree of discernment.
- High school degree; related customer service experience.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church (or willing to become one) who supports our Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our Mantra in tangible ways.
