What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare courts and playing areas for practices and games.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, parents, coaches, and spectators.
- Answer questions and provide game day and practice information.
- Help oversee practices and games to promote safety and sportsmanship.
- Officiate games while enforcing YMCA rules and sport-specific regulations.
- Address concerns professionally and communicate incidents to the Program Director when needed.
- Work closely with YMCA staff to create a positive experience for every participant.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment before, during, and after events.

What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age (some college preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience working with youth, families, or sports programs preferred.
- Knowledge of basketball, soccer, flag football, and volleyball rules.
- Ability to remain calm, make sound decisions, and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain through the YMCA).
- Successful completion of background screening and required child abuse prevention training.
