SPORTS PROGRAMME MANAGER
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sports Programme Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of our tennis and pickleball programmes. This role combines coaching, programme management, operations and business development to ensure our programmes are delivered to the highest standards while supporting the continued growth of the academy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and manage tennis and pickleball programmes for juniors and adults.
Conduct private and group coaching sessions in tennis and/or pickleball.
Develop structured training programmes and player development pathways.
Organise tournaments, holiday camps, clinics, leagues and community events.
Coordinate programme schedules, court bookings and coaching resources.
Recruit, mentor and support coaching staff to maintain high coaching standards.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, clubs and corporate partners.
Monitor programme quality and recommend improvements to enhance participant experience.
Ensure all coaching activities comply with safety and operational standards.
Support marketing, business development and academy growth initiatives.
Assist with day-to-day academy operations and administrative duties when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in sports coaching, programme management or sports operations.
Experience coaching tennis is required; pickleball coaching experience is an advantage.
Relevant coaching certifications (ITF, PTR, GPTCA, PPR, IPTPA or equivalent) are preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
Passion for developing athletes and growing participation in racket sports.
Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays based on programme schedules.
