Senior fullstack engineer on Betsson Group's sportsbook team in Budapest: build modern Angular/TypeScript frontends and scalable .NET/C# backend microservices, work with SQL/NoSQL databases and REST APIs, and use Docker, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/Azure) and messaging tools across the full SDLC in Agile teams.
- Designing scalable solutions
- Building modern user interfaces
- Developing high-performance backend services
- Writing automated tests
- Working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Contributing across the entire software development lifecycle
- Developing modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern UI framework (Angular preferred)
- Building scalable backend services with .NET / C#
- Designing and consuming REST APIs
- Working across complex distributed and microservice-based architectures
- Working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Using unit testing frameworks
- Applying Agile software development practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and sharing knowledge
- Communicating effectively in English
- Strong experience with Angular, ngRx, and RxJS
- Experience implementing distributed, multi-tier, or microservice-based systems
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with responsive web design
- Knowledge of SQL query optimisation and database performance tuning
- Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
