We are looking for a Service Operations Engineer to maintain and support our internal cloud platform and infrastructure services. This is a technical operations role without direct customer communication and does not require extensive software development.

Responsibilities
Monitor the availability and performance of cloud services and infrastructure.
Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters and container-based environments.
Perform deployments, upgrades, scaling, and routine maintenance.
Investigate alerts and incidents involving compute, storage, networking, and platform services.
Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve operational problems.
Coordinate complex incidents with Cloud, Network, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
Participate in change implementation and post-incident analysis.
Improve monitoring, operational procedures, and internal documentation.
Automate repetitive tasks using scripts and infrastructure-management tools.

Requirements
At least two years of experience in cloud operations, system administration, infrastructure support, or a similar role.
Confident administration of Linux systems.
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and container technologies.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and basic firewall principles.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident-management tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to technical problems.
Basic scripting experience with Bash or Python.
English at Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have
Experience with Helm, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or other observability platforms.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and Git.
Experience working with high-availability or distributed systems.
Background in hosting, IaaS, SaaS, or data-centre infrastructure.
