Spray Technician/Assistant in Training
- Superintendent
- Assistant Superintendent
- Experience working on a golf course is preferred but not required.
- A valid State issued Driver’s License.
- Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines.
- Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds.
- A pesticide license is not required but preferred.
- Making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.
- Detailed record keeping.
- Inventory management.
- Maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment.
- Spray selective and non-selective herbicides.
- Perform fertilizer applications on all playing surfaces.
- May help with other tasks on the golf course as directed by supervisor.
- Ability to work in all kinds of weather
- Ability to work holidays, a few hours in the morning
- Communicates well
