SQA Engineer (Mid level)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with at least two years of experience in a service-based company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, contributing to the delivery of exceptional solutions to our clients. #LIONSITE

Responsibilities:

Manual Testing:

• Execute and write comprehensive ,detailed test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects.

Bug Reporting and Tracking:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report and track software defects.
• Provide clear and detailed bug reports with necessary documentation.

Effective Communications:

• Communicate effectively with team members, developers and stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings and provide valuable insights on testing progress.

API Testing (Postman):

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
• Validate API functionality and ensure seamless integration between software components.

Database Testing (MongoDB):

• Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Automation Testing (Selenium):

• Possess a foundational understanding of automation testing concepts using Selenium.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to automated testing efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must have 3-4 years experience with the service-based company.
• Knowledge and experience in manual testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience with database testing, particularly using MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Desire to learn and grow in the field of automation testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Job type: On-site (Only).

Job Timings: 9:00AM to 6:00PM.

Job Location: Bahria Town phase 4, Rawalpindi.

Salary Package: 100k-150k PKR.
