Job Description
We are hiring a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with at least 1 year of professional experience in QA, including exposure to automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Python-based test automation and familiarity with tools like Selenium and Cucumber.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing and contribute to automation testing efforts.
Develop and maintain test scripts using Python.
Report and track bugs using test management and issue tracking tools.
Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong interest and some hands-on experience with QA automation using Python.
Familiar with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (basic to intermediate level).
Good understanding of software testing concepts, bug lifecycle, and SDLC.
Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentation.
Nice to Have
Experience with PyTest, Behave, or other Python BDD frameworks.
Exposure to API testing and tools like Postman.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
