About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic SQA Intern to join our QA team and gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance. You will work closely with experienced QA engineers and developers to test web and mobile applications, identify and report bugs, create test cases, and learn automation and modern testing practices.
This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or final-year student looking to build a strong foundation in Software Quality Assurance and gain practical experience with industry-standard tools and technologies.

What you will learn?

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing
  • Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and checklists based on requirements
  • Identify, document, and retest bugs using Jira / ClickUp
  • Perform basic API testing using Postman / Swagger
  • Learn and contribute to test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to assist with test case generation, test automation, bug analysis, and QA activities
  • Perform cross-browser, responsive, and basic compatibility testing
  • Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product teams to understand requirements and resolve quality issues
  • Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
  • Assist in basic performance testing using tools such as JMeter or k6
  • Learn basic OWASP security testing practices for web applications
  • Perform basic database validation and data verification using SQL
  • Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, test estimation, and release validation
  • Maintain proper testing documentation and contribute to improving QA processes
  • Continuously learn and stay updated with modern QA, automation, and AI-assisted testing practices

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of Software Testing, SDLC, STLC, and QA fundamentals
  • Understanding of different testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Basic knowledge of writing and executing test cases
  • Familiarity with bug reporting and defect lifecycle
  • Basic understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman / Swagger is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of any automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium is a plus
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or other AI-assisted development/testing tools is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of web and mobile applications
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus
  • Interest in learning CI/CD, automation, performance testing, and security testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of assigned tasks
