Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in SQL development, database design, performance tuning, and Power BI reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, optimizing database performance, and supporting data integration and reporting solutions.

The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, application developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Perform database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and integration.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business requirements.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
• Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Support database deployments, enhancements, and production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow database security and governance standards.

Required Technical Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SQL development.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational databases.

• Query Optimization and Performance Tuning
• Strong knowledge of database design and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report and dashboard development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud database platforms.
• Knowledge of Tableau or other BI reporting tools.
• Exposure to Snowflake or Synapse Analytics.
• Basic knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant database or cloud certifications are an added advantage.
