Salary: $5,000 – $6,500 per month
About the role
We are looking for a SQL Server & .NET Application Hosting Engineer to operate and support enterprise database and application hosting platforms across cloud and hybrid environments. The successful candidate will focus on platform operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and service reliability for SQL Server and .NET-based workloads.
Key responsibilities
Operate and support SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments
Support the hosting and operations of .NET-based enterprise applications and Azure Application Services
Perform platform monitoring, patching and backup coordination activities
Troubleshoot application-related and database-related incidents
Support integration and dependencies between application platforms and on-premises SharePoint environments
Handle SSL certificates and related hosting configuration activities
Support cloud and hybrid application hosting environments, including Azure Key Vault and PowerShell-based operational tasks
Provide backup support for day-to-day operations of related SharePoint hosting services when required
About you
Experience supporting SQL Server and .NET platforms
Experience operating cloud and hybrid application hosting environments, particularly Azure
Knowledge of Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure Application Services
Experience with Azure Key Vault and PowerShell
Understanding of application hosting, database connectivity and integration with on-premises SharePoint
Strong troubleshooting, monitoring and operational support skills
Good documentation and communication skills
