Squad Lead, Data Engineering

A Squad Lead, Data Engineering is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of data engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and governed data products, platforms, and pipelines that support the organization's analytics, reporting, AI, and business objectives. The role ensures enterprise data is trusted, high-quality, secure, and accessible across the organization.

As the squad's leader, they own the delivery roadmap and work closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, translate business requirements into data solutions, and drive the adoption of data products that create measurable business value. They collaborate extensively with Data Management teams to uphold data governance, data quality, metadata, and master data standards, while partnering with IT, Architecture, and Platform teams to ensure data solutions align with enterprise technology, security, and operational requirements.

The Squad Lead is accountable for squad performance, stakeholder engagement, delivery execution, resource planning, and continuous improvement. They foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration, and accountability while driving the scalability, resilience, and modernization of the organization's data ecosystem.
