Sr. Accountant

Job Requirements/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Tax (Fiscal) functions.
• Strong experience with:
• General Ledger accounting
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Audit support and internal controls
• Financial reporting
• Tax compliance (IVA, ISR, payroll taxes, and statutory requirements)
• Experience in a maquiladora/IMMEX environment is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax regulations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and financial problem-solving abilities.

Language Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with local and corporate stakeholders in a multinational environment.
