Sr. Accounting Analyst
Description
Your Contribution:
As a Sr. Accounting Analyst you will be responsible of review and perform the GL closing and report the financial information to HQ, applying the accounting rules according with reporting GAAPs and Local GAAPS.
- Lead and standardize accounting processes across Finance departments, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Review and approve journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation.
- Coordinate the General Ledger (GL) closing process with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Intercompany, and Controlling teams.
- Analyze and explain financial statement variances, providing accurate information to Corporate Accounting and auditors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit and control requirements.
- Prepare and report monthly financial information, as well as annual and semiannual reporting packages for Headquarters (HQ).
- Supervise accounting staff and support financial planning activities through forecasting, foreign exchange (FX) analysis, and internal control monitoring.
Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree on Accounting.
- English Advanced.
- 5 + years in accounting areas.
- Actual use of Microsoft office package mainly Excel.
- Proved experience of ERP accounting systems SAP is preferred.
- Green Belt certification is preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and detail-oriented.
