We are seeking a Sr Advisor Commercial to support the GTM Commercial and Marketing team in protecting existing revenue streams and identifying new growth opportunities across Enbridge’s GTM assets. What You Will Do:

  • Provide commercial leadership and input into outage planning activities, collaborating with Gas Control, Integrity, Capacity Scheduling, and Regional teams to minimize customer and revenue impacts while ensuring safe and efficient execution.

  • Analyze system dynamics, operational constraints, and market opportunities to identify revenue-generating initiatives while supporting the safe and reliable operation of GTM assets.

  • Interpret transportation and storage agreements, tariffs, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Develop solutions to complex commercial and regulatory issues, including topics such as Reservation Charge Adjustments, FRQ, SBA, ASA, and other matters impacting GTM customers and operations.

  • Lead customer communications and presentations related to outage management, maintenance programs, operational impacts, and commercial opportunities.

  • Conduct market, customer utilization, and competitor analyses to develop strategies that maximize asset utilization, increase revenue, and strengthen Enbridge’s market position.

  • Extract and analyze gas pricing data from various electronic data sources and subscriptions to create and track pricing data points for various natural gas hubs, storage facilities, and/or trading points.

  • Identify, define, develop, and continuously improve outage management and customer communication tools (PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint), ensuring that processes drive effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of high-quality results.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing reporting tools, dashboards, and business processes while supporting cross-functional collaboration and commercial project execution.

  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and enhance commercial tools, reporting, and data solutions that improve marketing effectiveness, business insights, and operational efficiencies.

  • Support and coordinate transportation and storage marketing activities by partnering with Regulatory, Legal, Contracts, Capacity Services, and LINK® teams to ensure the successful execution, implementation, and administration of commercial agreements and negotiated rate transactions.

  • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and Enbridge's operational excellence standards.

Who You Are:

  • University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Energy Management, or a related discipline, combined with 6+ years of relevant experience in the energy industry.

  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations, transportation and storage services, outage planning, and commercial business practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across various levels, both internally and externally.

  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering presentations to customers and leadership teams.

  • Experience utilizing data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other business intelligence applications to support decision-making.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of GTM assets and experience leading system enhancements, IT-related projects, or process improvement initiatives.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based environment.

  • Periodic travel may be required, including customer meetings, site visits, and collaboration with stakeholders across North America.

  • Position may require occasional after-hours availability and responsiveness to support critical business needs, outage activities, and emerging commercial opportunities.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
