Aven Hospitality is live with Workday globally and continuing to expand the platform across HR Operations, Recruiting, People Experience, Total Rewards, and Payroll. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Analyst, HRIS to support the configuration, testing, and day-to-day performance of the Workday environment, with a focus on Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll. This is a core part of the global team responsible for building, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving these modules. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, this individual will serve as a key internal Workday resource supporting the organization's HR technology.
Responsibilities
· Own configuration solutions across Absence, Leaves, Time Tracking, and Payroll; provide guidance on scalable design decisions across PATT.
· Support TMF global payroll, including PECI configuration, field mappings, troubleshooting, and payroll interface changes.
· Maintain period schedules, holiday calendars, work schedules, and related time and payroll configuration.
· Configure and maintain pay groups, earnings, deductions, eligibility rules, and payroll calculations.
· Support year-end payroll activities, including loading year-end payroll documents in partnership with OSV, testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
· Apply working knowledge of calculated fields, EIBs, business processes, and security configuration to support PATT solutions.
· Build and maintain global payroll dashboards, reports, audits, and analytics.
· Configure and troubleshoot global Time Tracking, including time calculations, eligibility rules, validations, schedules, and reporting.
· Resolve complex employee payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence issues through root-cause analysis and configuration changes.
· Configure and support global Absence plans and Leaves, including eligibility, accruals, carryovers, and payroll impacts.
· Support enterprise-scale Workday implementations, enhancements, and system deployments across PATT.
· Support complex transformation programs including Open Enrollment, new module deployments, integrations, and Workday enhancements.
· Lead annual Workday release testing and PATT projects, including configuration, end-to-end testing, audits, reporting, regression testing, and production readiness.
· Own day-to-day Workday administration, including troubleshooting, defect resolution, configuration maintenance, and production support.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with a strong focus on Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking configuration.
· Experience supporting year-end payroll cycles and global payroll integrations.
· Strong Workday reporting and security configuration background.
· Strong troubleshooting skills across complex, integrated HR and payroll environments.
· Experience building advanced reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and audit reporting.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
· Experience with TMF global payroll and OSV payroll processing.
· Experience configuring and troubleshooting PECI integrations and global payroll mappings.
· Demonstrated ability to independently own configuration, testing, and production support within Workday PATT.
