Overview of the Business

The Walt Disney Company Ltd., based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking an experienced IT PMO Analyst to join the LTAM Enterprise Technology & Data business segment on a permanent basis.

The role will be part of the LTAM Enterprise Technology & Data (ET&D) Financial & Purchasing team, supporting day-to-day purchasing, financial tracking, and PMO activities. The position will work closely with LTAM ET&D team members and collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement & Sourcing, Legal, Finance & Accounting, and external vendors.

Areas of Responsibility

The key elements of the IT PMO Analyst role are:

  • Purchasing & Order Management
    • Purchase goods and services on behalf of multiple technology teams.
    • Be the point of contact between IT functional team leaders and PTP support teams to resolve purchase order (PO) issues, including goods receipting, service entries, and invoice payment issues.
    • Support IT project managers and finance with project orders, PO queries, approvals, and change orders.
    • Assist in Pcard reconciliation when required.
    • Maintain and organize purchasing records and MS Teams sites to ensure timely and accurate cost execution.
    • Ensure purchasing processes comply with company standards and policies.
    • Facilitate new vendor setup.
  • Financial Management
    • Assist with IT AOP and forecasting processes.
    • Support quarterly financial performance metrics and analysis.
    • Provide proactive financial monitoring through BI dashboards and support IT functional teams with operating expense tracking.
  • PMO Support
    • Manage upkeep of PMO Teams site and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
    • Provide cross-region support when required.
    • Support improvement initiatives across purchasing and project administration.

Skills and Experience Required

You should be:

  • Relevant experience in IT administration, purchasing, finance operations, or project support roles.
  • Good understanding of computer systems and technical requests.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP (for purchase orders) and Coupa.
  • Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages may be beneficial.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-regional teams and stakeholders.
  • Thorough, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
  • Adaptable and proactive in supporting LTAM process improvements.
