Your role at Baxter:
You, in the role of Sr Analyst, Production Planner, develop a feasible production plan from customer demand. You ensure business commitments are fulfilled by balancing demand, production capability, supply availability, and inventory. They own the operational performance of designated business units. They anticipate risks and lead multi-functional coordination to resolve. They promote continuous improvement in planning through data analysis, standardization, and solutions that improve operational stability and client support.
What you will be doing:
- The Sr. Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the production plan for the assigned business units, turning customer demand into a feasible plan that considers installed capacity, material availability, inventory levels, and business priorities. Its objective is to ensure a balance between the level of customer service, operational stability and the efficient use of resources.
- It is responsible for following up on the execution of the production plan, supervising operational performance and identifying in advance risks related to materials, capacity, inventories or any other restriction that may affect the fulfillment of the established commitments. In the event of deviations, it must analyze the situation, define recovery actions and coordinate their implementation with the areas involved to minimize the impact on the customer and the business.
- They also handle the delivery commitments of the business units under his responsibility, evaluating special requests, changes in demand and order reallocation needs according to the established policies. You must ensure that dedication dates reflect the actual ability of the plant to complete and timely communicate any risks that could influence service quality.
- As the person responsible for your process, you will maintain the integrity of planning information within the company's systems. You will coordinate the monitoring of relevant measurements and use data analytics to support decision-making. You will identify trends and build action plans that improve operational efficiency.
- Additionally, they drive ongoing improvements to planning processes by finding opportunities. They analyze root causes of deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions. These actions increase the process's stability, reliability, and efficiency. s. You will participate in and, when required, lead improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events, process standardization, and control implementation, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational perfection.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration, or a related career.
- Experience in a position covering the entire supply chain, as well as in coordinating production activities, planning supply operations, or logistics. Experience in an end-to-end supply chain role and experience coordinating production schedules, supply chain planning, or logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of proven understanding in Production Planning, Materials Planning or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Background in the development and execution of production plans, taking into account demand, capacity, stock levels, and material availability.
- Background in using ERP systems to coordinate planning workflows (preferably JDE).
- Experience working collaboratively with areas such as Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Customer Service to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
- Experience in the analysis of performance indicators and in the implementation of ongoing improvement actions
