Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly autonomous Senior Java / TIBCO EBX Developer for a high-impact contract engagement. Operating strictly as an individual contributor, you will take full technical ownership of our enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) applications. This execution-focused role requires deep expertise in backend Java architecture combined with expert-level customization of the TIBCO EBX platform. You will be responsible for designing resilient data schemas, developing custom extensions via the EBX Java SDK, and optimizing high-throughput data integrations, all within a collaborative hybrid work environment. The working time will follow Bangkok team arrangement because this role will need to attend daily meetings and provide updates to the team regarding assignments received in every 2 weeks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on EBX Development: Architect and configure complex multi-domain TIBCO EBX data models, workflows, perspectives, and custom views. Implement advanced programmatic validation loops, custom directories, and access rule logic using the EBX Java API.
• Advanced Backend Programming: Write, optimize, and maintain clean, high-performance backend code using Core Java (Java 11/17+), leveraging multi-threading, concurrency patterns, and robust object-oriented design patterns.
• Custom API & UI Engineering: Build and expose robust RESTful and SOAP web services natively inside the EBX runtime. Develop custom User Services using the EBX Java SDK alongside modern web technologies to deliver highly bespoke data management interfaces.
• Data Integration & Streaming: Design and build real-time and batch-based data pipelines to synchronize master data securely across enterprise cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure) and distributed downstream applications.
• Data Governance Execution: Program and calibrate automated Match & Merge rules, survivorship matrices, and real-time data profiling quality triggers using native configurations and advanced EBX add-ons.
• Database Performance Optimization: Author, debug, and fine-tune complex SQL queries, relational schemas, and indexing strategies (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) to support high-volume transaction operations.

Required Technical Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 10+ years of professional, hands on software development experience specializing in enterprise-grade Java backends.
• TIBCO EBX Mastery: A minimum of 4+ years of dedicated, deep configuration and custom Java API development experience specifically within the TIBCO EBX MDM platform.
• Java Architecture: Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices architectures, and building production-grade distributed applications.
• Data Formats & Standards: Strong command of XML, JSON, XSD, XPath, and web services integration protocols.
• Agile Delivery & Independence: Proven track record as a self directed contractor capable of integrating instantly into existing engineering pipelines and delivering code rapidly with minimal guidance.

Preferred & Nice-to-Have Skill Sets

• TIBCO Credentials: Active TIBCO Certified Professional (TCP) or TIBCO Certified Associate (TCA) designation for TIBCO EBX.
• Platform Upgrades: Direct experience managing or executing major enterprise MDM upgrades, particularly migrating systems from legacy v6.x platforms to upper version.
• Event-Driven Middleware: Experience integrating EBX data event triggers with real-time streaming buses or message brokers such as Apache Kafka, TIBCO EMS, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Cloud & DevOps Pipelines: Practical exposure to cloud infrastructure deployments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and fully automated CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, or GitLab CI). Note :
