The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist will be a vital member of the leadership team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated for our growing Accounts Payable function.

Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the timely payment of company monthly expenses, including, but not limited to suppliers, professional services, real estate leases, government taxing authorities, etc.
Reconciliation of AutoDesk and NetSuite AP data. Investigation and correction of variances.
Monthly reconciliation of vendor aging reports to AP ledger details, with clear documentation of approved exceptions.
Adhere to the monthly AP close calendar and record month-end vendor invoice accruals.
Look to improve and standardize AP processes within newly integrated NetSuite ERP.
Ensure vendor invoice approval workflow across systems is documented and followed and invoices are progressed in a timely manner.
Responsible for accuracy of vendor data across systems, including contact information, payment terms, etc.
Review of contracts and leases to ensure invoices are compliant with contract terms.
Effective communication with vendors to resolve issues. Create and issue vendor statements as required.
Interact regularly with project managers and other stakeholders regarding contractors, budgets, spending, and other items.
Other supporting schedules as required by lender and private equity group.
Assist the Accounting team with financial reports, ledger analysis, and auditor requests.
Skills & Requirements
Education / Experience
Five to seven years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
NetSuite experience is required. Experience with an ERP integration is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
Experience in real estate or construction industry is beneficial.
Experience working with financial institutions and regulatory agencies is beneficial.
