Sr. Big Data Engineer

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and Spark.
• Experience working extensively with any Hadoop platform.
• Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to the cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations.
• Experience in programming with MapReduce and Spark.
• Knowledge of Hadoop Sizing and Implementation.
• Good hands-on experience with Java (Core Java) and J2EE technologies, Python/Scala, and Unix/Bash scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and research skills.
• Demonstrable ability to think outside of the box and not be dependent on readily available tools.
