Sr. Business Development Manager, LATAM Ingredients

The Sr. Business Development Manager, LATAM Ingredients will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's international market presence. This person’s focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will produce annual account plans, analyze market trends, and assess customer needs to develop effective sales strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development plans and achieve business objectives.
  • ​​​Identifies and develops distribution route to market, via product brokers, agents and distributors.

  • Compiles market intelligence on brand performance, market evolution and competition, on a monthly bases; acts as a driving force in opening up new market and new channels opportunities.

  • ​​​​Establishes and develops positive distribution partners and customer relationships, holding accountable to clear agreed annual KBI.

  • ​​​​Work with internal team members (R&D, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service) to communicate customer needs and work together to resolve issues.

  • ​​​​Maintain current business, regain lost business and create opportunities for growth of new business.

  • ​​​​Ensures all office activities meet corporate duty and tax strategy guidelines and recommends necessary actions to the home office to further product, technical and business development.

  • ​​​​Directly and indirectly manages internal and external staff to accomplish required results.

  • ​​​​Drive monthly sales delivery, results and deliver 12-month forecasting, overseeing sales partner results and forecasting.

  • Act as driving force in new initiatives & product launches.

  • ​​​​Design, develop and execute commercial strategy across channels (price, promotion guidelines, pack formats by channels).

  • Regularly review and update distributor contract terms.
