What This Job Involves

As the subject-matter expert for Azure networking and a senior engineering resource for AWS and GCP, you will bring enterprise networking fundamentals, infrastructure automation experience, and a security-first mindset to the table. You will lead technical incident resolutions, establish standard network patterns, and act as a critical player in modernizing our global hybrid-cloud connectivity.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Multi-Cloud Network Architecture: Design and implement scalable architectures using Azure Virtual WAN, AWS Transit Gateway, GCP Shared VPC, and cross-cloud connectivity tools (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect).

Network Security Integration: Design and maintain cloud firewall policies (Azure/AWS/GCP), implement microsegmentation, and partner with cybersecurity teams to deploy zero-trust controls and integrate platforms like Palo Alto Networks.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules. Automate network provisioning, compliance checks, and configuration validation integrated into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Advanced Operations & Reliability: Monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex routing, BGP, DNS, firewall, and application-connectivity issues using native cloud observability tools (Network Watcher, Reachability Analyzer).

Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering and operational teams, lead root-cause analysis for major incidents, and define the engineering standards and reference architectures for our cloud network.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.

3+ years of hands-on Azure networking experience, with demonstrated capability in AWS and GCP networking.

Strong understanding of core networking protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, NAT, VPNs, routing, segmentation, and high availability.

Proven experience designing connectivity between public cloud platforms and enterprise data centers.

Hands-on experience with Terraform and Git-based infrastructure-development practices.

Excellent English communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills to work effectively across globally distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud Network Certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate or Solutions Architect Expert; AWS Advanced Networking Specialty; GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer.

Industry Certifications: Cisco CCNP, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, HashiCorp Terraform Associate.

Experience with Palo Alto Networks cloud security solutions (Cloud NGFW, VM-Series).

Familiarity with automation scripting languages (Python, Go, PowerShell) and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
