Position Summary
The CNC Machinist – ProtoTRAK will set up, program, and operate ProtoTRAK mills and CNC lathes while producing precision components to engineering specifications. The successful candidate will perform first-piece inspections, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain equipment, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and operate ProtoTRAK CNC mills and CNC lathes.
· Interpret blueprints, GD&T, CAD models, and process instructions.
· Perform tool setup, offsets, work holding, and machine adjustments.
· Inspect first articles and production parts using precision measuring equipment.
· Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to improve efficiency and quality.
· Document production activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
