Sr. Collibra Solutions Architect

We're looking for a Sr. Collibra Solutions Architect to lead the administration, architecture, configuration, governance, and enhancement of agency's Collibra Enterprise Data Catalog for a government agency located in the Washington DC metro area. Serves as the principal Collibra subject-matter expert and ensures that operating models, workflows, metadata harvesting, lineage, and platform configurations meet agency's technical and data-governance requirements. Work structure is hybrid and would be required to work in our office 2-3 days per week at our Reston, VA location. Position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Collibra across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Assess existing Collibra configurations and recommend controlled enhancements.
• Design, implement, and modify Collibra operating models.
• Configure asset types, attributes, relations, domains, communities, responsibilities, and governance structures.
• Develop and support workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
• Configure and support Collibra Edge metadata harvesting and lineage.
• Configure and support Collibra Jobserver metadata-harvesting processes.
• Establish metadata-ingestion, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Define requirements for REST API integrations and JDK-based supporting services.
• Coordinate with the Integration and Platform Engineer on certificates, credentials, service accounts, APIs, and deployment dependencies.
• Review integration designs, code, testing results, and deployment packages for consistency with the Collibra architecture.
• Maintain platform configuration records, technical documentation, operating procedures, and release notes.
• Support Agile planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and acceptance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to agency personnel.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise technology or data management, with at least one year of hands-on documented architecture experience using Collibra.
• Current Collibra Solution Architect or Collibra Ranger certification.
• Demonstrated experience administering and configuring Collibra in multiple environments.
• Experience implementing and modifying Collibra operating models.
• Experience supporting workflows through Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
• Experience configuring Collibra Edge for metadata harvesting and lineage.
• Experience with Collibra Jobserver metadata harvesting.
• Experience participating in Agile software or platform-delivery projects.
• Ability to document architecture, configurations, workflows, operating procedures, and technical decisions.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, Java scripting, Linux based Collibra Edge architecture, and enterprise security solutions.
• Deep understanding of data governance, data cataloging, ETL, data pipelines, and database/cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Excellent communication to bridge stakeholders and IT Teams, with a customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with federal government projects.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to pass a federal background investigation prior to starting work and maintain eligibility throughout the engagement.

Salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $190,000.00

Work Authorization: Government customer requires U.S. citizenship to work on the program. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
