**Expectation for this role is 50-60 hours per week. Typically alternating weeks of five 10 hour days then six 10 hour days**
Job Summary
The New Construction Project Manager is responsible for directing the overall management of construction projects including commercial and industrial modular construction; and oversees the projects from development to completion. The project scope, budget and schedule will be the key’s that drive the NCPM’s project planning. They will plan and set project objectives, goals and deadlines; and develop schedules for obtaining them while working with Team members within the Flex Air and Mi Service Group departments to ensure project goals are met while managing customers’ expectations. Primary Contact for Site Related Activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and manager project development from beginning to end including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with upper management.
- Manage all aspects of New Construction Projects.
- Ensures efficiency, timely completion and customer satisfaction of construction projects.
- Collaborates with Flex Air and Mi Service Group Teams, General Contractors and Subcontractors.
- Draft and submit budgets, proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Works with Accounting to On-Board and Secure Subcontractors.
- Reports on construction status of projects and budget matters to Internal Team.
- Review engineering drawings to make sure all specifications and regulations are being followed.
- Reviews cost with Project Manager and provide input regarding manpower and constructability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, RFIs, change orders and schedules.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Education - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience – Preferred: 10+ years
