Sr. Credit Risk Analyst

We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst for one of our investment banking clients to work on their transformation program in Credit Risk space

· Support the testing and implementation of various Credit Risk programs within the firm

· Understand the requirements and coordinate with Risk, technology and various other stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are delivered

· Take individual ownership and drive the project via stakeholder management, including regular status of the program, facilitating various meetings (program kick-off, check points, retrospectives etc..); handling escalations.

· Produce required project documentation (e.g., Business Requirements, Impact, Analysis, Gap Analysis, Risks, Issues, Mitigants etc) highlighting the business needs.

· Support in other areas over period of time for the Credit Risk team like pilots, analysis and execution of strategic projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Masters in Finance /Technology or similar degrees

· 5+ years of relevant experience in any of the investment banks/consulting firms in

· The Credit Risk function in areas such as default risk, replacement risk, pre and post settlement Counterparty Credit Risk

· Good understanding of Credit Risk business processes such as deal confirmation, clearing, margining, limit management, exposure calculation, capital calculation, risk provisioning, netting and collateral management.

· Good understanding of lending products, origination experience (e.g.: understanding of difference between syndicated deals/bilateral deals; principal/agent relationships; fronting arrangements; underwriting best effort transactions; covenant monitoring process sourcing, recording and tracking; collateral management process

· Good knowledge of financial products such as Bonds, Stocks, ETFs, Repos, Securities Financing, Mortgages, Loans and other structured Derivative products

· Awareness of developments in the Risk domain including regulatory requirements

· Understanding of process workflow design, experience in creating process flow, BRDs, FRDs, requirements gathering, testing, Agile, JIRAs

· Technical skills such as VBA, Python ; SQL are preferred

· High organizational skills & ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little direction and frequently changing priorities

· Excellent communication and documentation skills to coordinate with business and technology stakeholders and team members.
