Sr. Customer Support Executive

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Criminal Case Background Researcher to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive criminal record searches, analyse data from various judicial systems, and compile accurate background investigation reports for employment and screening purposes. The ideal candidate has experience navigating court records, understands criminal justice terminology, and is dedicated to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Court Record Research: Conduct in-depth criminal history research at county, state, and federal levels using online court databases, public access interfaces (PACER), and by contacting court clerks directly.
  • Report Generation: Analyse case outcomes, misdemeanour/felony filings, and dispositions to compile detailed background reports.
  • Data Validation: Ensure all findings are accurately attributed to the correct subject by verifying identifiers such as full name, date of birth, and social security numbers.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure all research and reporting comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and relevant EEOC guidelines regarding the use of criminal records in employment decisions.
  • Detail-Oriented Reporting: Identify, flag, and summarize criminal history, including convictions, pending cases, and active warrants, in clear, professional English.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve discrepancies in record information by reaching out to law enforcement agencies or court personnel.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of investigations in company case management software.

Required Qualifications (Voice)

  • Graduates with minimum 1 year BGV work experience from BPO International Voice.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field is a plus.
  • [1–3] years of experience in background screening, court record retrieval, or paralegal work.
  • Strong knowledge of criminal justice systems, legal terminology, and court structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn new database systems quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality (PII/Sensitive data).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Qualifications (Non Voice)

  • Graduates with 1–3] years of experience in background screening, court record retrieval, or paralegal work.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of criminal justice systems, legal terminology, and court structure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn new database systems quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality (PII/Sensitive data).

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) regulations.
  • Prior experience with background screening software (e.g., Checkr, Sterling, or similar platforms).
  • Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
  • Persistent, investigative mindset with a focus on accuracy.
