At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring highly technical cloud computing architects to help our customers develop technical expertise and capacity, while also collaborating with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will deliver Pilot projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects. Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer's business need and guide them to a solution using AWS AI Services, AWS AI Platforms, AWS AI Frameworks, and AWS AI EC2 Instances
• Deliver AI/ML and GenAI projects from beginning to end, including understanding the business need, aggregating data, exploring data, building & validating predictive models, and deploying completed models
• Use Deep Learning frameworks like MXNet, Caffe 2, TensorFlow, Theano, CNTK, and Keras to help customers build DL models
• Use SparkML and Amazon Machine Learning (AML) to help customers build ML models
• Use Amazon Bedrock and various GenAI Tools to help customers build GenAI Applications
• Work with Professional Services Big Data consultants to analyze, extract, normalize, and label relevant data
• Work with Professional Services DevOps consultants to help customers operationalize models after they are built
• Assist customers with identifying model drift and retraining models
• Deliver Pilot projects, topical workshops, and lead implementation projects
• Travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud-based architecture, cloud services, and experience in customer-facing roles
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or equivalent quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including building, training, and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• 3+ years of experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, or Keras
• Experience with data processing and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Spark, Pandas) and cloud-based AI/ML platforms

Preferred

• Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
• Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
• Master's degree or PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields
• Experience with AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or Amazon Machine Learning
• Experience building and deploying Generative AI applications, including LLM-based solutions, RAG architectures, or agentic AI systems
• AWS Machine Learning Specialty Certification or AWS Solutions Architect certification
