Summary
Senior full-stack developer at Promes in Bangkok (Phaya Thai) who leads end-to-end delivery of complex software features, manages and mentors a small team, and unblocks work across software engineering, data, and ML. Core stack spans Kubernetes, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Elasticsearch), databases/warehouses, and IaC with Ansible and Terraform.
Salary: ฿50,000 – ฿70,000 per month
Responsibilities
Lead the development of new features from conception to completion
Delivers quickly with minimal direction or oversight; responsible for end-to-end, good-quality delivery of complex projects
Oversee the entire lifecycle of software projects, including requirement gathering, planning, designing, implementation, and deployment
Manages the work of a small team, generally focused on a particular business or product area or technical function
Mentors, pair programs, and conduct code reviews
Helps to unblock, debug, and discuss statistical, machine learning, software engineering, and data issues
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
Qualifications
4-5 years of experience
Fluent in English: read, write, listen, and speak
Proven track record of managing and executing software projects
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Software Engineering
Be able to conduct pair programming and code review with the coding principles by “reasonably” describing the option of coding pattern/skeleton that has been selected
Understand process concurrency and have experience in asynchronous implementation
Experienced front-end automation testing framework
Experienced in publishing mobile applications (either Android or App Store)
Experienced in building system and service monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Elasticsearch)
Advanced use of performance monitoring tools.
Can distinguish between stateless and stateful applications
Data Systems and Infrastructure
Mastery of complex data workflows and streaming systems.
In-depth knowledge of database optimization: partitioning and indexing
Get the idea of the CAP theorem
Exploit transactional database, data warehouse, and data lake for specific use cases
Fluent in Kubernetes usage and understand the important components: Deployment, Service, Ingress, Statefulset, Persistent Volume (PV), and Persistent Volume Claim (PVC)
Experienced in Infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
