Sr. DevOps Engineer
Summary
Senior DevOps engineer at Mitiga Solutions in Barcelona (hybrid, office twice a week) building and running the infrastructure behind natural-hazard risk products like wildfire alerting and aviation hazard data. Core stack: Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana observability, Jenkins CI, Python/Bash.
Requirements:
- +8 years of experience in this field
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent practical years of experience) in computer science / engineering
- Administration of Linuz Operating systems with precise troubleshooting skills
- Version control experience in Git
- Cloud Experience with fluency in Microsoft Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Container expertise (Kubernetes)
- Observability in Prometheus+ Grafana + Alert Manager + Logging systems
- Python/Bash scripting languages (Code Quality & Unit Testing)
- Building pipelines (Jenkins & automated testing)
- Experience with high availability systems
- Microservices architecture (HTTP servers & REST)(Queue systems: Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- System architecture design
- Expert knowledge in all aspects of designing, developing and managing large real- Time systems and hold excellent HPC knowledge

You have a passion for programming and you'll use your creativity and great coding skills to support deployment of releases of a range of impactful products, from automated data packages on harmful atmospheric contaminants to help aviation stakeholders or fly safer and more efficiently or build catastrophe models that provide alerts about imminent wildfires. Given the importance of our mission, it's critical that you can adhere to the highest quality of development principles while delivering solutions on- Time and on- Udget.
