Sr Devops Engineer (Secunderabad) Company: Virtusa Job Location: Secunderabad, Telangana, India Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 7 - 10 years Job Requirements Senior DQA DevOps Engineer Location: Offshore (India) Experience: 7+ Years Domain: Healthcare / Managed Care Payer About The Role Virtusa is seeking a Senior DQA DevOps Engineer to serve as the DevSecOps and Release Engineering backbone for Data Quality Center of Excellence (CoE) Pods delivering for a premier US healthcare payer client. Operating at a ratio of one engineer per Agile Pod, you will operationalize the Data Quality as Code (DQxC) strategy by building automated CI/CD pipelines that deploy Databricks and Snowflake assets with automated quality Responsibilities Release Engineering & CI/CD: Design and maintain scalable Azure DevOps (ADO) YAML pipelines for data code, infrastructure, and configuration across multiple environments. Automate releases for Azure Databricks (Asset Bundles, CLI, REST APIs) and Snowflake (SnowSQL, SchemaChange, Flyway, dbt). Provision cloud resources via Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. DevSecOps & DQxC Integration: Embed automated Data Quality as Code scripts into pipelines to block deployments if quality thresholds fail. Implement automated security scanning (SAST/DAST) and Azure Key Vault secrets management to protect PHI/PII. Configure logging, alerting, and monitoring. Gen AI & Continuous Improvement: Utilize Generative AI (Microsoft/GitHub Copilot) to accelerate YAML and Terraform authoring. Support Pod DQA leads and DQEs with troubleshooting and Git workflow best practices. Required Qualifications Experience: 7+ years in DevOps, Release Engineering, or SRE focused on data platforms and cloud infrastructure. ADO Mastery: Expert in Azure DevOps multi-stage YAML pipelines, Git repositories, and release gates. Cloud & IaC: Hands-on Azure cloud ecosystem and Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform strongly preferred). Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for deployment automation and API integrations. Data Platform & Security: Experience managing CI/CD for Databricks and Snowflake, plus solid DevSecOps and secrets management principles. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare IT familiarity (HIPAA, HITRUST compliance). Experience with AI developer tooling in DevOps workflows. Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Databricks Certified, or Terraform Associate. Work Experience 7-10Years .
