Role Summary

The Email Marketing Specialist will support the execution and optimization of Pella’s email, SMS, and marketing automation programs. This role is responsible for producing localized promotional campaigns, building and proofing email assets, supporting automated customer journeys, and maintaining accurate branch-level reporting for sends, leads, and billing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute production of promotional email campaigns, including localization and personalization for each participating branch location.
  • Write and design engaging email copy and graphics, using AI tools where appropriate, to improve clicks, leads, and won jobs.
  • Build, proof, QA, and schedule campaign versions, ensuring accuracy across links, offers, personalization, disclaimers, and branch-specific details.
  • Share proofs with branches upon request and manage requested updates.
  • Track monthly email send volume and leads by branch.
  • Help create and maintain an automated billing process for branch email and lead activity.
  • Execute marketing automation campaigns across email, SMS, and customer data-driven touchpoints.
  • Partner with the Lifecycle Strategist to optimize customer journeys through testing, content updates, segmentation, and performance improvements.
  • Assist with building landing pages and forms as needed.
  • Support the evaluation of a new marketing automation platform and the migration of existing Eloqua automations into the new system.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience executing email marketing or marketing automation campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple versions, deadlines, and stakeholder requests.
  • Experience with a marketing automation platform or email service provider, such as Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, or similar.
  • Strong writing skills and basic design sensibility.
  • Comfort working with campaign data, reporting, audience lists, and branch/location-level details.
  • Ability to use AI-enabled tools to support content creation, personalization, QA, and workflow efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to build repeatable processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with localized, franchise, dealer, branch, or field marketing programs.
  • Experience with Eloqua or MAP migration projects.
  • Familiarity with SMS, landing pages, forms, and customer journey orchestration.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, CRM reporting, or billing/reporting automation.

Success Measures

Success in this role will be measured by accurate and timely campaign execution, improved email and journey performance, efficient campaign localization, reliable branch-level reporting and billing, and successful support of the transition from Eloqua to a new marketing automation platform.
