- Develop and maintain the embedded Linux platform.
- Configure and customize the Linux kernel, bootloader, and device tree.
- Build and maintain Linux images using the Yocto Project.
- Develop and integrate system components and device drivers.
- Design, implement, and maintain software update mechanisms.
- Analyze issues, perform debugging activities, and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate closely with Hardware, Firmware, Application, and Validation teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of Linux environments and core operating system components.
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel architecture, device drivers, device tree, and boot processes.
- Hands-on experience with Yocto Project, BitBake, and Linux image customization.
- Experience with U-Boot, cross-compilation, and embedded toolchains.
- Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems development.
- Experience managing read-only root filesystems and OverlayFS.
- Familiarity with secure update architectures based on A/B partitioning schemes.
- Knowledge of systemd, service management, and logging frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills for embedded systems.
- Experience using Git and collaborative software development tools.
- Good command of technical English.
