General Summary\nWe are looking for a hands‑on Senior Software Engineer for our Qualcomm’s Enterprise AI Platform to build and scale AI powered applications and user experiences with a focus on knowledge retrieval engineering, agentic pipeline development, agent runtime management and agent powered applications.
\nThis is a fast‑paced, execution‑focused role involving rapid delivery of features, continuous iteration on pipelines, building new agentic solutions for business processes and integration of agentic capabilities into existing solutions.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Build end‑to‑end AI‑powered applications, including backend services and user‑facing interfaces \n
- Work on enterprise‑scale AI powered search and retrieval systems supporting various downstream applications and agents \n
- Develop and integrate APIs/services/MCP/agent‑tools to expose ML/AI capabilities \n
- Develop and integrate LLM/AI capabilities into enterprise applications, delivering intuitive user experiences and rapidly iterating UI/UX based on real‑world usage and feedback \n
- Debug and resolve issues across application layers, data pipelines, and LLM behavior (e.g., grounding, hallucinations) \n
- Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver scalable, production‑grade systems \n
- Contribute reusable components and patterns for AI application and UI development \n
- \n
- Strong programming skills in Python and modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, or similar) \n
- Experience building full‑stack applications (UI + backend services + APIs) \n
- Proven ability to build clean, intuitive, and performant user interfaces \n
- Hands‑on experience developing or integrating LLM‑based / AI‑powered applications \n
- Familiarity with agentic workflows or orchestration frameworks \n
- Ability to take high‑level direction and independently drive end‑to‑end implementation \n
- Strong understanding of API design, state management, and UI/backend integration \n
- Experience debugging across both traditional systems and AI/LLM‑driven behavior \n
- \n
- Tracing/observability tools for LLM systems \n
- Experience with Elasticsearch / vector search \n
- Docker / Kubernetes exposure \n
- Multi‑agent systems and evaluation frameworks \n

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience \n
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience \n
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field \n
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. \n
