Job Responsibilities
Lead technical engagement and strategic partnerships with RDA and Metrology suppliers.
Develop and execute global tool and technology strategies aligned with Micron's roadmap.
Drive supplier innovation, capability development, and performance improvements.
Enable qualification, deployment, and optimization of advanced metrology and inspection technologies.
Collaborate across worldwide fabs to improve quality, yield, productivity, and manufacturing robustness.
Influence supplier roadmaps to address future technology challenges and business needs.
Manage technical escalations, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers.
Drive AI-driven transformation across RDA and Metrology by leveraging AI to accelerate innovation, enhance operational efficiency, improve manufacturing performance, and enable data-driven decision-making
Key Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, metrology, inspection, yield enhancement, or supplier engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of advanced RDA (Defect Detection) and Metrology technologies, including optical inspection, eBeam inspection/review, critical dimension metrology, overlay, defectivity monitoring, thin-film metrology, and process control methodologies.
Demonstrated experience working directly with leading semiconductor equipment suppliers such as KLA, Applied Materials, ASML, Hitachi, Onto Innovation, Nova, or equivalent technology partners.
Proven track record of driving supplier engagement, technology roadmap alignment, tool qualifications, productivity improvements, and strategic business initiatives across multiple sites or organizations.
Strong understanding of semiconductor process flows, process control, yield management, tool matching, technology transfer, and high-volume manufacturing challenges.
Experience influencing supplier roadmaps and leading cross-functional programs involving engineering, operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and executive levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead global initiatives, manage complex technical escalations, and drive consensus across geographically distributed teams.
Self-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.
Willingness and flexibility to support a global organization, including participation in off-hours meetings to collaborate with teams and suppliers across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Open to frequent international travel and extended business trips to Micron manufacturing sites and supplier locations to drive strategic partnerships, technology development, tool qualifications, and operational excellence initiatives.
Familiarity with AI, advanced analytics, digital manufacturing, APC/SPC, and smart factory initiatives.
