Sr.Engineer for Development Series Support

Product Engineering:

• Execute development projects & series support and ensure
  engineering quality as per BES_PE standards and release the with necessary verification to ensure customer satisfaction.

Project Management

• Organize and Execute customer sub-projects and ensure high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in meetings with customers for technical alignments

Quality And Risk Management

• Provide technical inputs, participate and contribute to resolving technical issues, ensuring product quality
• Notify possible Risks, Provide Information & Data on
  Development metrics report areas for improvement

Knowledge Management

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices related to Project management, sustainable product/system development and engineering

Innovation Management

• Participate in Product innovation and continuous Process
  improvement, Implement innovative/creative concepts in
  development projects as Invention reports

Requirements

A) Essential : B.E. (Mechanical)

B) Desirable :

1. 1/2 years of work experience in development / Process engineering/ Quality

2. Basics & working knowledge of GD&T

3. Analytical reasoning ability and experience in practical application of Problem-solving tools

4. Good knowledge on reading drawings and Form parameters

5. Knowledge of FMEA’s, ISO TS 16949,Quality tools, statistics

6. Knowledge of German language is an added advantage

7. Good communication skills written and spoken in English language

8. Knowledge on Pro-E, CAD software for modeling and drafting will be added advantage

• Good Knowledge on internal combustion engines and application of Exhaust after treatment components.
• Understand generic issues w.r.t Product capabilities and limitations
• Basic awareness of quality management tools Viz. FMEA, DRBFM, 8D, FLOW / OneQ etc.,
• Risk assessment: Able to prepare a risk assessment based on FMEA - Able to discuss a risk assessment to internal panel
• Should be able to handle project independently and collaboratively; should be able to foresee likely problems and plan for suitable approach.
• Should be willing to accept responsibility & show results.
• Willingness to travel, good in communication and networking
