2. Minimum Required Qualifications
2.1. Specialty: ECT NDT- L2
2.2. Education: BE / BSC / MSC (Physics)
2.3. Technical knowledge: NDT Level II Certification (ASNT / PCN or equivalent) in:
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)/ Eddy Current Testing (ECT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
2.5. Experience: Minimum 4 years
3. Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities
3.1. Primary Functions:
- Lead and execute day to day BV Pakistan’s NDT service operations (conventional & advanced).
- Ensure development and approval of NDT procedures and inspection methodologies.
- Deliver high-quality inspection services in compliance with international standards.
- Drive operational excellence, project delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Support business growth by developing new service offerings.
3.2. Technical Expertise
- Act as the responsible Level III authority for all NDT activities in BV Pakistan.
- UT, ECT, MPI, DPT.
- Heat exchanger tube inspection and integrity assessment.
- Codes & standards (ASME, API, ISO 9712, SNT-TC-1A).
- Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection plans.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements.
- Provide technical support for complex inspections and failure investigations.
3.3. Business Requirements
- Support business development through technical proposals and tenders.
- Identify opportunities to expand NDT and advanced inspection services.
- Provide cost estimation, methodology, and execution strategies.
- Build strong client relationships and act as technical advisor.
- Support revenue growth and service portfolio expansion.

- Ability to manage multi-site operations and high-pressure shutdown projects.

3.6. HSE Requirements
- Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE Policies, procedures and practices.
- Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative
- Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
- Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation
- Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
- Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
- Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
