Job Purpose
The Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing and engineering comprehensive, integrated power solutions for data center applications within the Engineer-to-Order business unit. The role involves analyzing client specifications, developing customized technical proposals, and integrating internal alfanar components with external equipment to deliver reliable, high‑performance power infrastructure that meets stringent data center requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Engineering
- Design customized power distribution architectures for data center projects based on client requirements and industry standards.
- Engineer integrated solutions combining alfanar manufactured equipment with third‑party components to ensure seamless system operation.
- Develop detailed technical submittals, single‑line diagrams, and equipment layouts for proposed solutions.
- Analyze technical specifications to identify potential integration challenges and recommend optimal engineering approaches.
Technical Proposal Development
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals and compliance statements for complex ETO data center projects.
- Analyze cost estimations and bill of materials (BOM) to ensure competitive and accurate technical bids.
- Recommend value engineering options to optimize solution performance and cost‑effectiveness.
- Solve technical queries during the bidding phase by providing expert engineering insights to the sales and commercial teams.
System Integration and Implementation
- Implement standardized engineering processes for the integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems.
- Design testing and commissioning protocols for integrated power solutions to validate system performance.
- Resolve complex technical issues during the assembly, testing, and commissioning phases of the project lifecycle.
- Recommend modifications to standard product designs to accommodate specific data center integration requirements.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
Work Experience
4 to 6 years.
