Job Description Summary
As part of the Turbine Module team, the People Leader of ADAPT (Advanced Design, Aeromechanics, and Predictive Technologies) is responsible for leading and managing a talented, high-energy team of engineers that own the design, analysis, development, aeromechanics, and management of Gas Turbine Hot Gas Path, Turbine Rotor, and Structural components across Turbine module. The people leader will lead the team to drive design excellence, develop, and deliver on NPI and NTI programs, and support development of advanced methods, analysis, and predictive modeling technologies including aeromechanics and lifing. The people leader will collaborate closely with ATCD, Systems, Product Line, Customer Service Engineering, STAI, MPE, ADT, and GSCM teams and push the boundaries on turbine module design, ensuring the team delivers outstanding aeromechanics and predictive technologies that meet or exceed objectives. The people leader will be a champion of lean and continuous improvement and embrace operational rigor and daily management principles.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a champion for safety and quality.
- Set team priorities, expectations, and standards; cultivate positive working environment and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed; grow individual and team capabilities.
- Manage team member work assignments and schedules, provide design and manufacturing/fleet issues expertise, perform personnel activities including PPG feedback, recruiting/hiring and HR support.
- Take ownership for and ensure the team delivers quality solutions, including but not limited to design guidance, RCA solutioning, analysis, methods updates, predictive technology improvements, and AI implementation.
- Drive technical rigor and integrity in all aspects of design and post-design work.
- Communicate and support key business initiatives to the team and ensure a strong communication link & collaborative teaming spirit with Systems, GSCM, PDE and other teams.
- Apply knowledge of gas turbine design and systems to implement new ideas that enhance performance, operational flexibility, emissions, cost, and value.
- Demonstrate and lead with a high sense of urgency for factory and fleet support, as needed.
- Coach and mentor engineers within the team to develop their technical and personal growth.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering / Science from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 8 years Engineering Professional Experience

- M.S. in Engineering / Science discipline

- Gas Turbine Component, System Design, and/or Aeromechanics Design Experience.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
