Position Related:
We’re looking for a Senior Expert – Coupa Administrator with responsibility for the administration, configuration, development and operation of the Coupa platform, ensuring that the platform is managed in accordance with best practices, business requirements and customer expectations.
This position requires a strong understanding of Coupa administration, Functional DevOps ways of working and Agile practices, together with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams and other platform teams.
Goals
Telenor is using cloud based spend management solution known as “Coupa” covering the sourcing & purchasing services. This is global solution and integrated with other cloud-based ERPs. The role combines Coupa platform administration and Functional DevOps responsibilities, including platform housekeeping and controls, master data administration, user and access administration, functional assessment of changes, configuration and change implementation, incident and service request management, testing, releases and continuous improvement. The role will also identify opportunities for process and configuration improvements and contribute to the stability, efficiency and continuous evolution of the Coupa platform.
· Take ownership of the day-to-day administration and operational management of the Coupa platform, ensuring platform stability, data quality and adherence to established standards and controls.
· Manage and maintain Coupa users, roles, permissions, groups and access, ensuring appropriate access in line with business requirements and security policies.
· Perform master data administration and maintenance across relevant Coupa areas, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
· Perform regular system housekeeping, platform health checks and administrative control activities, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
· Analyse and assess DTBs, change requests and proposed configuration changes from a functional and administrative perspective, identifying impacts, dependencies and potential risks.
· Recommend and implement process, configuration and platform improvements to enhance Coupa usability, efficiency, stability and overall user experience.
· Provide analytics and operational insights to support platform monitoring, issue analysis, decision-making and continuous improvement.
· Support the identification, prioritization and resolution of high-severity and complex platform issues, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and technical teams where required.

· Support the end-to-end operation, configuration, incident management, testing, releases and continuous improvement of the Coupa platform, ensuring stable and reliable delivery of S2P processes in line with business requirements.
· Collaborate with business, integration, ERP and technical teams to analyse complex issues, deliver changes and enhancements, drive standardization across Business Units, and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, governance and best practices.
Your Typical day at work
1. Maintain and administer the Coupa platform, ensuring the day-to-day operational stability, configuration, data quality and adherence to established platform standards and controls.
2. Manage Coupa user administration, roles, permissions, groups and access, ensuring appropriate access is maintained in line with business requirements, security policies and governance requirements.
3. Perform master data administration and maintenance across relevant Coupa areas, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and consistency, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.
4. Perform regular system housekeeping, platform health checks and administrative control activities, proactively identifying issues, inconsistencies or potential risks and taking appropriate corrective actions.
5. Analyse DTBs, change requests and configuration requirements, assessing their functional and administrative impact, identifying dependencies and risks, and providing recommendations in line with global Coupa design and governance standards.
6. Support complex incidents, high-severity issues and operational challenges, performing structured analysis and coordinating with Functional DevOps, integration, ERP, vendor and other technical teams where required.
7. Support testing, release and change activities by validating configurations, administrative changes and relevant platform functionality, ensuring changes are properly tested and implemented with minimal business disruption.
8. Monitor and provide analytics and operational insights related to platform usage, data quality, incidents and administrative activities, identifying opportunities for process, configuration and platform improvements.
9. Act as a Coupa subject matter expert in governance and operational forums, contributing to standardization and harmonization across Business Units and identifying opportunities for automation, optimization and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Computer Sciences or similar along with functional overview of Financials/Supply Chain Management processes.
· Degree in Finance/ CA / ACCA is also accepted provided with relevant experience of ERP implementation.
Work experience:
· Successful experience in ERP/procurement technology implementation, preferably including S2P/SCM solutions and Coupa.
· 7+ years of relevant experience covering Coupa administration, process design, system configuration, testing, change management, production support and end-user support/training.
