Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Manager Finance, create, maintain, monitor regularly scheduled financial reports and custom financial analyses, using data from disparate systems (INFOR, StrataJazz, EPIC, HCM / Workday). Reports and analyses will be used regularly by department leadership to make decisions and to monitor the health of the department. Must be able to understand the needs of leadership, then create executive summary reports as well as detailed analytics. Must be able to explain and interpret the information for the leadership team. Actively participate, and lead segments, in the development of the annual department budget for Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, Montefiore School of Nursing and and Schaffer Extended Care Center.

Position Standards

Financial Planning and Reporting

1) Have good working knowledge of INFOR, EPIC, StrataJazz and HCM Systems.

2) Advance Excel Skills and experience working with large data sets.

3) Experience with creating meaningful reports.

Financial Model

1) Have an understanding of financial reporting.

2) Experience with data modeling.

3) Attention to details.

Contract Review

1) Keep records of contracts.

2) Contact responsible parties (internal and external) by phone & email.

3) Maintain accurate balance in Excel.

Create Ad-Hoc reports and carryout additional duties as assigned

1) Able to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.

2) Check data for errors.

3) Be able to identify problem areas and suggest for solutions.

Required Skills
