(Sr.) Firmware Engineer(DLC Solution) _TC30422

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support supplier-led firmware development for DLC and other liquid cooling products, initially focusing on the next-generation in-rack CDU. Work with thermal engineers, customers, internal teams, and suppliers to define firmware requirements for control to ensure quality. Track development progressor, manage firmware versions and release notes, and coordinate validation and issue resolution.

•Work with thermal engineers to translate control and protection requirements into clear firmware specifications for supplier implementation.
•Coordinate firmware requirements and development plans with suppliers including BMC/MCU functions, Redfish, SNMP, Web UI, and related system interfaces
•Track supplier development schedules, milestones, and deliverables; follow up on delays and open issues.
•Manage firm ware version, release notes, knows issues, defects and corrective actions through closure.
•Translate customer and internal requirements into actionable supplier tasks, acceptance criteria and validation plans.
•Support commissioning documentation and procedures where firmware settings, alarms and interfaces affect CDU startup and operation.

• This role coordinates and validates supplier-developed firmware; hands-on firmware coding is not required.
