Summary
Senior full-stack engineer building scalable Java/Spring Boot backends and React/TypeScript frontends for customer engagement and enrollment systems, with integrations to external partners and databases.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that support customer engagement and enrollment experiences.
- Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript when needed.
- Develop integrations with external systems, device manufacturers, and utility partners to expand enrollment capabilities.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to design efficient data solutions.
- Support analytics initiatives through reporting, logging, and data-driven insights.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging sessions, and team planning activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Follow engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing applications using Java, preferably Java 17.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and backend services.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Understanding of software engineering practices including testing, debugging, version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
