Sr. Global Demand Planning Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Global Demand Planning Manager based in the United States.

This is a strategic, highly analytical role responsible for leading the end-to-end demand planning process across U.S. and international markets.
You will own an 18-month rolling forecast across multiple channels, regions, and product categories.
The role plays a central part in connecting commercial demand signals with supply, inventory, and financial planning.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional teams to create accurate and actionable forecasts.
Using data, scenario planning, and continuous improvement, you will identify risks and opportunities before they impact the business.
You will also lead the demand component of S&OP/IBP and help strengthen forecasting systems, processes, and decision-making.

Accountabilities:

  • Own demand forecasts across DTC, DME, retail, distributor, and customer care channels across U.S. and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling forecast at SKU, channel, and regional levels to support global purchasing and supply chain decisions.
  • Lead the demand planning calendar, ensuring forecasts are accurate, timely, complete, and aligned with commercial and operational priorities.
  • Lead the demand pillar of S&OP/IBP, creating alignment across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales teams to incorporate pipeline expectations, promotions, product launches, and market intelligence into demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on new product introductions, campaigns, and demand-shaping initiatives.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning and Finance to align demand forecasts with capacity, inventory targets, and financial plans.
  • Analyze historical sales, promotions, product lifecycles, and market trends to identify demand patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Track and report key demand planning KPIs, including MAPE and forecast bias, at market and SKU levels.
  • Identify forecast variances and root causes, proactively surface demand risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct scenario planning for new products, market expansion, promotions, and other significant changes in demand.
  • Maintain strong data integrity and reporting accuracy to ensure stakeholders have reliable information for decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across forecasting tools, systems, processes, and reporting to increase visibility, agility, and planning effectiveness.
  • Requirements

    • Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a closely related analytical function, ideally within a global, multi-channel environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rolling forecasts across SKUs, channels, regions, and markets.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with practical experience interpreting sales data, forecasting trends, variances, and forecast accuracy metrics.
    • Experience with S&OP, IBP, or comparable cross-functional planning processes.
    • Proven ability to translate commercial inputs such as sales pipelines, promotions, launches, and market intelligence into actionable demand plans.
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect forecasting decisions with supply, inventory, financial, and commercial outcomes.
    • Experience with scenario planning, demand-risk identification, and root-cause analysis.
    • A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to enhance planning processes, tools, reporting, and data quality.
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Chain.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for business leaders.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
