(Sr.) Hardware Design Engineer (IY)
Summary
Leads design and development of server and AI hardware — motherboards, accelerator boards, and subsystems — defining architecture and specs, doing schematic design with PCB layout guidance, and handling board/system-level bring-up, validation, and cross-functional debugging for reliability, compliance, and manufacturability.
1. Lead the design and development of server and AI hardware systems, including motherboards, accelerator boards, and related subsystems.
2. Define the system architecture and hardware specifications based on product requirements, with a focus on energy efficiency (green computing), scalability, and reliability.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., firmware, software, mechanical, thermal, compliance) to ensure seamless system integration.
4. Perform schematic design, provide PCB layout guidance, and conduct validation and debugging to ensure product reliability and quality.
5. Analyze and resolve complex hardware issues at the board and system levels, including bring-up, validation, and cross-functional debugging.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company design guidelines.
7. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
