Sr HR Generalist

Job Summary

The Senior HR Generalist serves as the primary HR partner for the Brazil organization,

providing strategic and operational HR support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role

partners closely with leaders to drive talent initiatives, strengthen employee engagement,

ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws, and deliver an exceptional employee

experience.

In addition to supporting Brazil, this individual acts as an HR consultant for other Brazil-based

entities, partnering with business leaders to provide guidance on organizational design,

performance management, employee relations, change management, and HR best

practices. The role balances hands-on execution with strategic partnership to support

business growth and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

• Serve as the trusted HR advisor for managers and employees across the Brazil

organization.

• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent

development, and organizational effectiveness.

• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design

initiatives.

• Partner with leaders during organizational changes, restructures, and business

transformations.

Employee Relations & Compliance

• Lead employee relations matters, conducting investigations and recommending

appropriate resolutions.

• Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor legislation and company policies.

• Partner with legal counsel when required on employment matters.

Talent Management

• Support recruiting efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition.

• Facilitate onboarding and integration of new employees.

• Drive performance review cycles, goal setting, calibration, and talent discussions.

• Identify development opportunities and support career growth initiatives.

Compensation & HR Operations

• Partner with Director of HR on salary reviews, promotions, market analyses, and job

architecture.

• Support annual merit and bonus processes.

• Ensure employee records, HRIS transactions, and HR documentation are accurate and

compliant.

• Coordinate leave administration and other employee lifecycle processes.

Employee Experience

• Promote a positive and engaging workplace culture.

• Support engagement surveys and action planning.

• Lead or participate in culture, recognition, and wellness initiatives.

• Facilitate HR communications and change management activities.

Regional HR Consulting

• Act as an HR consultant for any Brazil entities within the organization.

• Provide guidance on organizational design, employee relations, talent management,

compliance, and leadership coaching.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent HR practices while

addressing local business needs.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a

related field.

• Generalist experience in Human Resources.

• Knowledge of labor laws, personnel management processes, and leadership support.

• Experience with HR management systems.

• Experience supporting technology or SaaS organizations.

• Experience working within a global or matrix organization.

• Intermediate or advanced English.
